My photos are full of life and contrast mixed with a little bit of mood. I love making art out of the everyday, and I like sessions that are a little less-posed and a lot more genuine. I've learned a thing or two after capturing hundreds of clients. I will be your guide through the entire session, your calming presence, and your comedic relief in the midst of chaos. I've learned to let the session happen, not to force anything, and am a pro at capturing amazing images when it feels a mess (knock on wood, there has never been a toddler tantrum I could not salvage during a session). I will absolutely make a fool of myself and cluck like a chicken to get your children laughing.

Kate took my family newborn pictures when my youngest was born. I also had a 2-year-old at the time, which you can imagine made it much more complicated. Kate never got frustrated with the chaos and never made me feel rushed when the photoshoot took longer than expected due to nursing breaks, diaper changes, and the nature of a "terrible twos" toddler. The pictures that Kate took were incredible. She captured all of our personalities perfectly and I will treasure these pictures forever. In addition to the amazing photos, Kate is an absolute JOY to be around, and you will feel so loved the entire time.
